Cascina Veneria's Carnaroli Rice was the Gold medal winner at the Rice Olympics in Valencia and is rice of choice of the Italian National Chef's Academy. Carnaroli is a rice known for maintaining its shape (its never sticky) and its ability to absorb the flavours of the dish making it absolutely ideal in the preparation of risottos. 500g bag.

The earliest documented reference to rice cultivation on the Veneria estate dates back to 1781 from which it can be presumed that rice cultivation had already been in practice for 200 years. More recently, in 1992 a full rice production centre was set up inside the original estate, complete with machinery geared to quality, rather than mass production.
