Intense yellow with green reflections. The aroma is pleasing with notes of almond and herbs. This is an early harvest oil so the flavour is pronounced with the right amount of bitter and spicy, harmonious. Delicate intensity. Blend of Frantoio, Leccino and Pendolino.

Harvest 2010

The Ranchino family has produced extra virgin olive oil for decades but the decision to modernize and renovate their establishment came in 2002.

The frantoio is in Orvieto in the small village of Canale between the the communities of Porano and Orvietto where the family has more than 3000 trees. It is one of the few producers in Umbria that cultivate olives on volcanic soil.
