Intense limpid golden yellow with green hues. The aroma is full and round with elegant fruity notes of medium ripe tomato and basil. Its taste is delicious and strong with hints of garden vegetables and an almond finish. Bitter and spicy. Medium intensity. A blend of Frantoio, Carpellese and Rotondella olives.

From within the olives groves tucked into the hills between Battipaglia and Montecorvino Rovella, this small and relatively young cooperative (established in 1998) is managed by the highly skilled and passionate Maria Provenza.

Maria, having grown up among those same ancient trees is a third generation “olive oil master”, trained as a professional oil taster and as a quality technician. She is also taking La Torretta through the process of gaining Organic certification.
